My Apologies

After six days (and nights) of painful and uncomfortable health issues which needed urgent medical attention, and lack of sleep, I have at last been able to switch on my computer and check out my mail.

I found dozens of comments, messages and seasonal greetings which I am in too weak a state to reply to; it would not cross my mind to reply to some but not all.

It would have been easy to log out and go back to bed, but then I remembered that, having recently become a Life Member, I could now be putting up a Blog. So here goes:

Thank you to all those Soupers who have sent me wishes for Christmas; who have commented on my poetry; who have sent me private emails and messages…I appreciate your encouragement and support, but most of all your friendship.

I am sorry that I have been unable to acknowledge your comments and to thank you, in my usual way, by reading and commenting on some of your work. I will make it up to you :)

Sending my warmest regards and blessings to you, your families and other loved ones. Take care.
