Born in 1940, during WWII on the island of Malta, I concluded my secondary studies in 1957. I applied to become a teacher but soon found that I was not happy in that job. So I entered an evening course fo obtain a degree, a Bachelor of Arts which I concluded in 1968. Within two years I was successfully employed with the Government Civil Service. Slowly but steadily I advanced in my work and in 1990 I was promoted to a Director of Corporate Services. I retired in 2001.
Throughout my years I managed to publish five books in Maltese.
My hobbies were various: reading, writing, gardening (for 20 years I was Secetary of the Indoor Plant Circle) and now i spend most of my time writing poetry on Poetry Soup.
