When summer is gone, its heart may grieve.
The endless breadth of the leaden blue sky
and daylight golden sunny rays weave
fall days become shorter and unsettled.
Temperature's cool sweet breath at play
for a playground of dreams and ebullient smiles.
No longer cute summer wear,
but the warmer apparels embrace.
Nights longer echoes sounds of star lights.
The days slowly progress to winter earth canvas
and shone through abandoned labyrinth patches.
Flowers slowly feather out and die,
while drawn trees undress and crisp foliage echo
footstep of earthy brilliant warm hue colors;
a pinwheel of yellow, orange, red, and brown
start to claim and dominate the scene;
a poet's inspiration.
