My auntie whose name is Selene Will say things I deem are obscene She tripped over her cat and exclaimed 'cooking fat!' - My toddler had witnessed this scene He said ‘Mummy can we get a cat’ I’ll play with it on our door mat Oh mummy I’m smitten can I have a kitten I’ll christen my cat ‘cooking fat’ I said sorry we can’t have a cat We live in a tower block flat I’ll buy you a new toy As you’ve been a good boy (I’m adept as a diplomat!) For my sweet friend BB xx 07/29/21

Jan, I don’t know how you come up with such hilarious Limericks, ‘cooking fat’ how on earth did you think of that it’s fantastic… Belle :-) xx (Kittens in the picture are adorable.)

I was chatting with an on line pal and she has 8 cats lol:-) I have no idea where the ideas come from apart from a word or phrase i see or hear or a contest prompt, but i hope the joy of writing never leaves me, its taken until my hubbies cancer surgery to even pick up my pen:-) hugs Jan xx

Blimey, I’m slow today... I was half way through before the spoonerism hit me between the eyes. Great fun, Jan. Be sure that, from now on, I’ll use that expression whenever I find those errant lumps on my lawn. ;-) Terry
