** *Tree*, *I am*. *Sprouted at*, *the dull back yard*. *When I’m full of life*, *Men for shade, come to me*. *When I'm laden with flowers* *They greatly admire and love me*. *When I bear luscious and tasty fruits*, *They stone me and hurt me merciless*. *Please know, I'm your friend*. * * * * * * * * * * * When I shed my leaves, they curse Me. When I grow hefty, they cut me. How sad is my plight. Have pity on me!

Dear Valsa, What a unique and charming graphic. It's very compelling to read. Your empathic writing brings the predicament of the tree to attention! I imagine if trees could communicate and have something to say, it might appear like this lovely, soothing poem weaved in the form of a tree. Best wishes for the contest, and sorry, if I missed commenting on your poetry because my computer is damaged, and I've been connecting or submitting poems from my phone on occasion.

So clever Valsa wow. Such a unique and lovely theme. So impressive to read. I have been away just got back to commenting on everyone's poetry. I wrote a poem that Maria Williams did a video song to. If you have any spare time please Valsa check out Maria Williams video and comment. I would love to read your thoughts on the poem I wrote and the song Maria and her husband Ron produced. Hugs...

I bet if trees could talk, and if they had a voice it would sound like this soft gentle poem woven in the shape of a tree! I once did a shape poem, wasnt easy. I had to do it on my phone too so maybe it was harder for me. But yours is so neat and well delivered dear sweet valsa! I feel so sad whenever i see a tree go, for whatever reason. Hence why this will be a fave for me! Best wishes in the contest, I hope you are doing well, sending you light always.

The shady side of tree life...indeed, no easy mission to bear -- thinking twice more respectively, next time I eat a pear. Lovely write!
