Dear tom, this is a very profound monoku, youv described the artwork so very well in few syllables. “The last of autumn leaves” something about that is so very evocative and touching, felt deeply! Pleasure reading this. Sending you light always

What a great Monoku Tom, so much imagery. I must say I do love the look of autumn leaves, the stunning colours, but guess they do build up, so time for the Sweeper to be called in. All the best...Hugs

Thank you very much Christuraj, it was a dark time in India's history, and as far as I know there has never been a heartfelt apology for that atrocity. Seems the British are good at sweeping things under the carpet, they tried to hang on to their dwindling empire by atrocities and blood. Shame that dark side of history isn't taught in schools. Tom

Your words are a work of art in as much as the photo you have chosen to display. What a beauty Tom, may the leaves not be gathered too soon, I love Autumn and all it brings to us.

Tom, you make art and poetry such a pleasant combination. You bring me a lot of internal smiles. In other words, your poetry makes me feel good in general and about myself because I can appreciate what you create. I feel as though I have a connection, and it's a very good thing.

Ah, the shared values of minds and their accords. My note of yours, was won by irony as I imparted a polite strategy after reading between the lines and unveiling your message of truth. --enjoyed emphatically Tom. Aloha William

strange it may seem to you, but you have pulled off a wonderful one-liner about a philosophical sentiment too dear poet. autumn (leaves thereof) is ascribed to old age, even in abstract painting it is read so. gathering the last of autumn leaves is coming to terms of old-age discomforts. your thought builds up layers of meaning. amazing write. congratulations. cheers.
