The Call of the Waterfall
Layers of limestone set the stunning stage
Where waters rumble and tumble
Dance and prance
Like a woman whose flowing white hair is let loose
All aglow with a million diamond studs
Of shimmering sunbeams
Under a viridescent baldachin,
Cascading and serenading,
The soft hum of aquatic thrum
Showcase a dazzling display,
Nature’s way
Of revealing soul-stirring artistry,
Reminding mortals of God’s Divine Touch.
