Resolution Bittersweet

I ate to many sweets this past year. My sweet tooth is the culprit I fear. Stopping my sweet treats, Will be bittersweet . Resolution this year is unclear. Pull my sweet tooth is what I will do. Which one will I pull, have I a clue? It is my mindset, I need to except, To limit all my sugary chews. For Gwendolen's contest, "Limerick in My Pocket"

Nope, eating sugar, morning thru night every day. If I had to lose weight or a doctor told me that I'm a diabetic, I'd stop. I had a chocolate protein drink, blended with ice cream, for breakfast. Oh yea, Hershey's chocolate syrup too. Lol, Connie

This is a perfect entry into Gwendolen's contest, she will love this! I am enamored by the beauty of this poem, the sheer gorgeousness of it brings a greatness to it! I love sweets as well, and they can be my downfall, but I've learned to eat in moderation...except for the darn holidays, I've gone crazy this past month! Spectacular piece Connie, Great Work!!

Russell thank you for your wonderful comment. This is the first time I've written a Limerick. I've only been writing poems for 4 months, so whenI receive comments I feel like I have a little talent for poetry writing. I've learned so much at PS. Warm Smiles, Connie
