Oh my regal Eucalyptus friend, Your tall rainbow trunk is rooted deep, Stationary, yet your tree tops bend In constant unison with the wind. My camera can’t capture your awesome sweep. Thin limbs try to reach the azure sky While your trunk fascinates passersby. An army of ants reveals a platoon Moving over bark to their marching tune. Love the poem the picture and the spirit in which you write my friend! What a wonderful tree, its majesty reminds me of a tree near our home as a child. It was a beautiful old weather ravaged mulberry tree. Finally thanks to you I have seen a tree matching its beauty. Thanks and super 7 on this awesome poem..

Wow, on both your picture and poem my dear friend, Connie! Thank you for introducing this tree to us through your awesome poem. I remember how happy I was when I finally saw a sycamore tree in Israel. Hope I can see this tree someday, too. It's really beautiful with painted-like trunk and twigs. Thank you Paul. You know these trees grow to be as tall as 200 feet. They far surpass the tall pines near-by the one I took a photo of. They are very impressive trees indeed. I appreciate your comments. Mahalo, Connie
