Caught With His Pants Down - Bawdy

Her hubby was found with a bimbo He's naked, her legs were akimbo Can’t deny the fact He’s caught in the act His marriage now is in limbo Wife’s livid - he’s dressed in a trice She'd clamp his gonads in a vice! He’s been playing away Now there’s hell to play No cheating would be my advice! It’s time his wife showed him the door He’s bonked other ladies before So it’s not the first time That he’s cheated, the swine Unfaithfulness partners abhor! 3/7/19

My poems aren't to everyone's taste Jack but as you know i adore the limerick form and will never stop trying to make folk smile and let people know poetry doesn't have to be stuffy and intellectual it can be such fun:-) hugs jan xx

Well-done limerick, Jan---although on this side of the ocean unfaithfulness is probably more common than monogamy! Here what people abhor is lying about it when caught, ala Bill Clinton. Something terribly wrong there, don't you think? (I.e., that the act itself is no problem, basically taken for granted)...Such are the 'wonderful' times we live in, 'morality-free. All's relative in today's world... :) gw'

Hi Jan, Great limericks on the topic of adultery. Ouch! Pertaining to that second limerick! It's sad but this is a reality worldwide. Can a marriage survive such a thing? That's between the two married people. Myself on the other hand will tell him that old Ray Charles classic " Hit The Road Jack" As always good job:-) Alexis
