I’m drowning in sunset’s last yellow rays. Clouds plush as pillows cavort, then fade away. I want to see, to touch, to feel, and breathe the ocean in; to seize each sacred second – not to stray. In primrose twilight, summer lingers near. A giant stillness surrounds me. There is so much glory to behold touching the horizon of a placid periwinkle sea. Ecstasy envelops me. I melt like ice cream. September disrobed is a Sapphire night. 1. The Field at Sunset 2. A Summer Sunset On a Beach 3. Ocean Sonata 4. Embracing Solitude 5. And Sweet is Her Demise 6. Saturated in Silence 7. In Autumn’s Eves of Gold 8.Dusk 9, Dulcet Dreams 10, Song of September

I loved the opening lines to your poem and I can see you tried to pick ten lines that would catch my eye and you succeeded.. I like the imagery you created and with your 100,000 poems must have been difficult to pick the poems you wanted.. It was so difficult to judge this contest as there were so many great entries.. Thanks for writing for my last contest and congratulations on your placement..

Indeed, S1 is right Ria when he said it must not have been an easy task to choose from your many poems. Am still in awe of your writing speed, whereas I write one poem in six months, as I don't hv time lol.

By the way, are you sure I have that many poems? I was thinking less than half that many!

Thanks, Duke. It's very handy to look up poems by theme to help one create a poem this way!

This was so well written Andrea using your other Poetry. I would think a tedious thing to do that would take much time. Really enjoyed reading. Best wishes for the Contest...
