I lost my wedding rings never to be found again....I didn't realize how much I'd miss them until they were gone.

Sad day when the rings get lost. I recently lost the diamond out of my engagement ring. I went many months without my ring before my husband replaced it. I had an attachment to my original stone but I have had to accept that It is gone. Thanks for the visit to my page. This one reads like a good contender for the contest. Sara

I like this sad little song. Early in my marriage, after I had taken a shower, I was sitting in my chair and went to play with my ring and it was gone! A sinking feeling... Thankfully I found it in the shower.

We went out to buy a replacement ring once, after I could not stop crying. When we returned the babysitter had my "real" ring. The four year old had taken it off me when I fell asleep with her at nap time. Ha! Lovely senryu that reminded me of a great ending to a sad night, where I could find nothing else I wanted.

Sad but too often this really happens. Sometimes it has to be replaced because it's never found again. Hope you get yours back. God Bless, JB

How sad indeed Anne Lise, I've not worn my wedding ring since my fall in April, we tried to get it back on on Valentines Day but its still too uncomfy to wear. I will leave it a year like the physio said but may have to get it re sized ... I guess until then I'm a 'free' woman lol lol:-( hugs Jan xx
