With Springing Steps
Spring
has come,
like a bride,
in green costume.
Bees buzz around buds.
Birds hop on trees.
Happy throng.
Songs they,
pour.
Feel
the pulse,
of sweet spring.
The air, so crisp.
The breeze, very cool.
Plants stay lush green.
Sun’s bright rays,
greet me,
warm.
How
my soul,
with joy swells,
in this spring time,
when life throbs around,
in hills and dales,
in all nooks
Oh, bliss
here!
