Valentine’s Day
Like a gentle breeze on a Summer’s
eve,
You came into my life and swore never
to leave,
I weave a tale with these words to say,
I wish we could have seen it through,
entwined to that inevitable day.
With every breath, your sweet words
sway,
Your warm smile and gentle embrace
always made my day,
Those periods of absence when you
were away,
Your love and our memories kept me
company every night and every day.
With the gift of Love’s essence that binds
us together,
And the intimate, unbreakable bond
we share, I hoped it would have lasted
longer than a day and well into forever.
On this Special day, love’s echo rises
to the call,
Let joy dwell in the garden of hearts,
where love abides,
To you, me and to lovers everywhere,
I say,
Have a beautifully blissful Valentine’s
Day.
