Connie was an inspiration to me for many years. - her encouragement - her enthusiasm - her genuine love of poetry - her finding something to like in every poem she read of mine, carried me on a journey of learning that transcended the ordinary act of writing. She inspired and believed in me and we developed a true and lasting friendship.

She used to appreciate and congratulate others and always found something good in their poems and highlighted them. She was genial and kind hearted.That's why she has become so dear to us and we continue to miss her. A beautiful and hearfelt tribute to her, dear Suzanne.

Thanks Deb: yes That is her in her younger days. She was so in love with Mike right up until he passed away. She is with him now where sh wanted to be.
