The Problem With You Is Me
It’s time we simply just let go
of things that we’ve been taught to know
Perhaps not by a mom or dad
but by the world, it’s just so sad
To trash this group for doing that
“ It happens when that side’s at bat”
and these folks do or don’t belong
but how is being human wrong
It’s funny how a color plays
that history, if learned, conveys
Inherited ideas and blame
instead of thinking, what a shame
So have your God, your church, your pew
and live and let live, why can’t you
For wrong is wrong and right is right
and many books can shed that light
Let’s look inside and just find love
from around or from above
And maybe you’ll begin to see
The problem that I have is me
