The Crow Is a Chicken

As I walked thru glistening, deep snow A crow swooped and pecked a strike combo Upon my shocked and cold nose I returned snowballs well froze Downed crows sure can chicken dance in snow

Ha, that last line is so cute. That is what MAKES a limerick (a perfect last line)

Oh, Honey - that limerick was like an opponent in a boxing ring, we kept circling each other, it near invisible and me clueless for much longer than 15 rounds. No matter how hard I punched the LAST line would never go down, so I posted it with no idea of whether I cared any longer or not about victory. Well, look at those boxing metaphors! I believe I just had limerick therapy in this box. Hugs...CayCay

I am relieved by your comments because I wasn't sure what to think of it and ended up thinking of it much too long! All the best ... CayCay

My limerick confidence is zero, so thank you very much for aiding its potential growth! Poetry hugs ... CayCay
