Sunrise Sonnet

A bird sings an ode to twilight Composed just for those purple skies Tomorrow when dawn breaks light It will sing a sonnet to sunrise On summer days when flowers gently sway in the dell Clouds float by in a periwinkle sky As summer cast an enchanting spell While a bird sings a song for a butterfly 2-8-2024

I feel like ' a butterfly, ' while ' clouds float by in a periwinkle sky, ' There's something magical about such a moment. Your thoughts are so beautiful and dreamy. I'm ready for Summer's sweet serenade. My best to you, Joseph. :) Hugs, Brandy

This is a non-traditional sonnet, but for its succinctness and imagery, I love it
