install me in front of anything just let me sit, I can do this there is a gift of immortality that I bestow, on the best of days take texture, the beginnings of decay captured beautifully, that which rests I reference my plans paint what is anything and nothing intricacy where light lands there is no waste let me use my time to my advantage

Thank you Daniel, I love creating a poem from paintings that hold something other than mass appeal for beauty. This was a moment for a man where a trusted person placed the ordinary in front of him and taught him about not only technique but vision. Thank you for your kind words, appreciated

your talent for getting into an artist's head is outstanding. To paint what is anything and nothing...is the way my younger brother felt as he drew and painted. Your words resonated with me. Well done...!! have to fave this one, hugs, Sara

Thank you Sara, I always feel like the words are already in the painting and I just have to spend time with it. I quite enjoy working with a less obviously poetic painting and I'm pleased to hear this captured a resonating view. Thank you for sharing that, appreciated x
