Nette, Right now a dry day with some sun would be a good thing. It has rained mostly and been overcast for over a week. I appreciate you dropping by and taking time to comment. Sara

I had to "fav" Magnolia's are wondrous in the breeze; that sweet fragrance makes a sunny day, magical. Beautifully penned.

M. L., The magnolia is a beautiful tree with those awesome flowers. This star magnolia is a different kind of tree that blooms first in the spring with a blossom that looks like a large ragged carnation. There was this feeling that I got looking at the dark gray clouds and damp cold surroundings then the sighing of the pines topped it off. Thanks for the visit to my page. I am honored that you faved this one. Sara

Harry, Well no not a climate change poem. The star magnolia will be one of the first to bloom in the spring. If we were to have one of those winters where it goes down to 9 degrees like it does sometimes the tree would probably be killed. At the bank yesterday their roses that are a bunch continuous blooming kind still had some blossoms on them. If the temperature were to drop like it does sometimes it would probably kill them back or all the way. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
