I now live in the Isle of Man - I've not been back to Chaddesden for quite some years - my sister still lives off Friargate - I will pop in the church next time I am in the UK:-) Hugs jan ... small world isn't it! xx

AS you know, Chaddesden is only ten minute's from St Mary's in town, so call in next time you're in the area- preferably on a cloudless sunny summers day. If main door closed, side entrance in the garden is open x

Thanks, Jan. St Mary's in Derby has a spectacular array of stained glass windows, and if you're seated in the pews on a bright summers day, you get a 'rainbow wash'. Very spiritual x
