Like gentle teardrops softly falling down
There is rain sprinkling the windows all around
Creating a haven here inside the house
Where I share these moments with my spouse
A crisp feel to the air comes through the doors
As the rain continues to puddle as it pours
Crackling is the roaring blaze there in the fireplace
This soothing ambiance is filled with pure grace
Rain showers hold a tender spot inside my heart
Where there are memories that they do impart
Remembrances of sweet nights spent together
With my special someone, enjoying the weather
Like tears from the heavenly angels sent to earth
Reminding us with raindrops of all God’s worth
