Mnemonic Tools

To stick in the minds of their dearest readers, poets will use rhymes as mnemonic tools. This means they will just as easily be remembered as great philosophers or fantastic fools.

Hi Timothy...we often use mnemonic ways as learning techniques in school; helps the mind to better retain things. What you say makes sense! In my case I am not interested in being great or fantastic; being a normal* person suits me fine. [*then it depends on your definition of normal!:)] // paul

That's a weaselly word, normal. Someone's weird can be another person's normal... who knows? If you ask me, being YOU suits you more than fine!

Any emotional response is better than a poem that inspires indifference. Whether nonsensical or profound... remembrance is what we're after. Thanks for you unexpected visit, Ilene!

If we are to be fools it is best to do it fabulously! This morning I am a grinning fool. Thanks for the levity.

If one is a fool in rhymes then perhaps it's not so bad! Thank you Liam!
