Admire a Summer Flower Contest ************************************************************* Hey, Johnny Jump Up, Mischievous elf, Your look like Viola, Not like yourself. Same shape, same colors - Before our eyes, Your yellow and purple, Quite the disguise. Vibrant, bright colors Painted on your five petals Love, luck and happiness Your gifts on us settles, You love the warm meadows And cool ocean breezes Magician of summer You won't make us sneeze.

Though I have seen this flower ( very rarely as they don't grow here,) I never knew that it has such a funny name. Until I read the second stanza, I couldn't guess that it is a flower. I thought you were referring to a mischievous imp. The last line made me smile. Your sense of humor is evident in this poem. Have a lovely weekend dear Sam.

Samszy, always so good to see you post! And one that rhymes so well too! How profound! And fun is this write! This flower seems like one that is very generous and soul warming as i read too i can feel that!
