Those boosting creation vent steam They scream that life has a grand scheme In fact we don't know Where all this will go And anything else is a dream.

What a deep limerick this is dear duke, youv really written a very evocative and thought provoking one that leaves me in awe of how deep your mind works, and how you think; for everything in life seems like a dream, so many uncertainties, and we wonder where will all this go, what is the end goal, sometimes we all think these things i suppose. I loved reading this. Always sending you light

A well put limerick that forces the reader to think or question. People(whomever, wherever) try to use words to label; to make a case. And meanwhile, life goes on. I'm in the camp where all life is one; certainly helps to cut down on differences between people.

I'm fully on board with what you say here David. We should not allow any differences in beliefs create strife. We can enjoy the cultural differences and try to understand why people feel the way they do.

I like your questioning. I hope you are at least agnostic because we may have no proof of God but neither is there NOT proof. I have heard too many testimonies by friends who felt God's love or who escaped a bad fate due to His miraculous intervention, as well as hearing all the near death experience stories. The earth is too beautiful to come from nothing or for us to have no purpose. Anyway, I do admire the ones who question things. I questioned my religion and left it. I only know God is real

Andrea, you have faith and that is good as it helps you interpret reality. I think about the fact that we arrived on this planet long after it formed thru evolution....which some people do not accept. The fact that any of this is here is something I cannot explain and never expect to be able to. I think we are both lucky to be able to see the beauty and share it.

Your limerick leaves readers with a thought-provoking message about the uncertainty of life's journey and the limitations of human understanding. It encourages reflection on the nature of existence and the possibility that the future may hold more surprises and mysteries than we can imagine.

Yes kind Silent One, the limitations of our understanding. We are a mere speck in the universe if even that much. However, it is sure a lot of fun to have this experience and to share thoughts with you who are wise indeed!

Hilda, you are striking a nice balance. My own feeling is we are but a small speck in the universe that came to be thru the forces of nature...there will never be an answer as to where the matter and energy that makes up the universe came from or how it will end. The notion of time going back infinitely presents an insoluble question that I would not presume to be connected to me or the human race in any way. We're not that important in galactic terms though some feel otherwise.

Another great limerick. Proof is helpful in questions of philosophy. On most subjects, I have a foot in each camp. (But please don't call me for jury duty).
