Ice Wrapped
I dream a pure winter wonderland dream,
where I wear a shimmering wedding dress;
and I am enclosed with glimmer and gleam.
I remember that day- when I said yes,
and my ruby cold lips you did caress;
your love, my heart you will ever possess.
Yet, in my dream I am alone in white,
lost in a frozen wilderness of ice;
I breathe deeply the pristine landscape bright.
My love is drenched in tears- that is the price,
this heart is ice-kissed in a bitter vice;
oh, your arms around me sure would be nice.
Crisp the magical snow in quiet haze,
I am searching for you my sweet lover;
in dreams, I wander snow trails in a daze.
Did you take refuge in snow for cover,
in this ice world for me to discover?
Then, I find you love- and there I hover.
I hover among the tombs white capped,
but, only in one is my love ice wrapped.
