When asked about a problem with sheets in the hospital ER, management reported that the spread sheets show a profit. The actual workers are wonderful, want the best for the patients, and love to provide the best treatment possible despite obstacles.

Yoda says the force running biz is But each ER worker's a wiz And spot it they can The treatment right ban Which siphons their wonderful rizz

Cute one, Duke. I am thankful for any nurse or doctor who actually knows what they are doing

Me too. At least for now, they figure out how to help us. It's becoming more and more difficult for them as the industry consolidates. When we take time to talk to them, they explain how they are being to spend less time with each patient, see more patients, and order fewer tests and procedures for certain people depending on insurance.

Oh my, this is a wonderful limerick, dear Duke. You've beautifully showed the encouraging aura of healthcare workers, who show such kindness and compassion towards their patients.. Like true angels, indeed. It's a blessing to find such amiable ambience in medical facilities. My parents are doctors too and I have high admiration for their work & duties. You really express intriguing themes in these poems, so effortlessly. Sending best wishes and light to you. Loved reading this, amazing rhymes!

Yes Hiya, they are real heroes, and I am in awe of their willingness to help me and others. I may have said this before, but I view a visit to the doctor or hospital as a mini vacation since I feel surrounded by people who care. It's really much more pleasant than working.

Having only just experienced a stay in hospital I've nothing but praise for all medical staff, it takes a very special caring person to do their jobs. Enjoy your weekend Duke. Tom

Thanks Tom, and yes they are finding it more and more difficult to do the right thing for us here in USA land. The insurance companies and administrators try to apply medicine with statistical analysis...making it less of an art. The physicians and nurses talking about it are saying it is difficult to have a decent work/life balance, and they are trying to come up with solutions.

This spot-on limerick lauds the ER workers, who are admirable, and let's face it, thrive on the activity. Not everyone can do it. Good job.

Yes, they are special people. After talking to them, I see how hard it is for them to maintain a normal work/life balance. They are under a lot of pressure at times, but are always there for us.

Very clever Duke... Your limerick is a delightful tribute to the unsung heroes of emergency medicine, blending humour with admiration for the vital role they play in providing care and comfort to those in need. It reminds us to appreciate and recognize the extraordinary skill and dedication of these healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to save lives every day.

Yes, they are wonderful, and we are very lucky to have them standing by for us. It is not easy what they do.
