Bed Time Story
He is leaving tomorrow
to visit a friend
that leaves me with sorrow
anxiety does extend
though I've talked some concerning this
in poems in the past
I haven't elaborated for reasons I dismiss
amidst a contrast
I'm afraid to be alone
what a strain
this feeling to disown
would stop the pain
when I talk of sleeping
tis the reason why
a vary disrupts my seeking
for peace of mind though I buy
It's just that I'm content
not being apart
I long for duality that was sent
from the heart
a friend is coming over
still no comfort is within me
as I attempt again to curl up under my cover
awake the dark I see
