Good Afternoon Jan. I see you are getting a start on Autumn. This is lovely and true. Your format is in true form as is the voice and tone of the entry. Well done completely. You have matched your image marvelously. Have a wonderful afternoon.

I think we have had our few days of summer and now we have dull wet weather :-( I do love autumn but know the dark days of winter will soon follow:-( hugs Jan xx

I get a strong visual from this even without the picture. It's kind of poignant.

Thanks Dale:-) I do surprise folks with a more serious poem from time to time:-) My Nantucket poem finished I'll post it soon lol - I read the original bawdy ones and they are definitely not suitable for soup!!:-) hugs Jan xx

It feels as though the geese have already flown. That's one brave leaf to stay and wave them off.

Really nice Jan. I love autumn and the leaves falling and then having to rake the leaves into piles and then put them in a bag and then drag them to the curb and...wait...nevermind. I love autumn. : ) Just kidding, I find it an amazing experience to hear the geese first then to look up and find them. Its such a spectacular sight for sure as is your beautiful autumn Haiku. Nicely done my friend.

Yes, the geese and the leaf, sure sounds like fall to me. I always dread this, as I am not fond of winter :)
