'art of Pretence'

If I say I love you today It doesn't mean I will love you A little less If you falter tomorrow Don't hide behind the truth you think I can handle Trust me enough to know I can handle your worst Even if I can't; Give me the chance to decide for myself I might find a way to work through it Instead of you being the primary decision maker When we started this voyage There were no guarantees No signs that indicated Smooth sailing Every moment in our lives Are painted with curves The crooked lines can make you stronger Or it can show you what to work on Just don't pretend everything is perfect One day the art of pretence Will fight with reality And that battle might in the end Break everything you tried to keep together

Hello Ms. Capetown! This is how to set a table for two. The full course meal is warranted. I wouldn't want whatever scraps anyone would just offer me either. I'm to sexy for that lol. Love and blessings sent from Los Angeles!

What a marvelous read from a blessed paged built on lines constructed with the lyrics of the skies and words well supported by dynamic foamy clouds. Message well expressed! No doubt an absolute 7##.

This is a treasure. Had to read several times. While it speaks with wisdom, the poem is full of kindness, acceptance, and such need to be understood...the reader is left with no doubt as to the message. I learned a lesson or two today on the art of writing as well. A 7 and a fav. Kim

This is lovely, Wilma. You always write as if talking to a good friend or special someone and I bet you have very good relationships for the time and importance you put into them.

Hi Wilma! This is a pen writing from experience, with an open mind. Love has to be nurtured and be taken care of; it also has to be worked on, for it is not always easy sailing. // paul

How are you, Missy? I certainly like the metaphors you put in here, and of the insights you shared. One can definitely apply this--- and yet again, you give such sound advice here... I hope to catch up with you soon, mwahugs!
