"Panchhi gawah hain,
Aasman mein udne se pehle,
Hazaar baar girkar sambhalna padta hai.
Har chot ek sabak hai,
Aur har udaan ek jeet."
~Shruti

A conversation about politics that does not include human nature is shallow at best.

We all have faced arduous moments, yet such matters divulge the depths of life and it shall not be seen as a challenge rather fulfilling and rewarding one’s consciousness, existence and reality.
|
As George Orwell pointed out, people sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
-- Richard Grenier

Most people want to be circled by safety, not by the unexpected. The
unexpected can take you out. But the unexpected can also take you over
and change your life. Put a heart in your body where a stone used to be.
-- Ron Hall

I have some very old photographs, postcards -- the images have changed with age -- someday soon to be all gone -- life is like Polaroids, but faith and love above all, I truly feel in my heart, somehow transcend the lethal memory of time.
|
I believe that the act of sitting down and truly expressing your emotions is far more therapeutic than wasting time on things that will only lead to regret. Pursue what you love, no matter the challenges—it’s the only path to genuine fulfillment.

Demons have escaped from Hell to destroy our beautiful planet, hurling their vengeance towards God. Their shallow vanity earned them punishment: the exodus from Paradise. Whatever they plot, they won't be successful.

Truth is the flip side of Love. You cannot have Love, if you don’t have Truth. You cannot have Truth if there is no Love. You cannot have half a Truth. Truth is Truth. It is complete. There isn’t a half Truth or a full Truth. There is only Truth.

"How all people are tiny,"
The footbridge said.
Nobody was seen,
neither my father,
nor my mom,
not even the longest night of the year,
whose length is the tallest---Yalda night.
"All aged as a dot,"
plane's window said.
My eyes ache
to watch all these tiny black points,
I said,
and stupid ophthalmologists
still prescribe me glass

Honesty is at least half of every poem -- if one starts with attempt at self truth -- the rest is made far easier.

Everything under the sun can be justified. But it's only the truth that brings healing and restoration. If only we spent half as much energy in the pursuit of truth as we do in these fights to have it our way.
|
If you see me as a ladder, you will never grow.
Coz hard work knows no shortcuts.
If you see me as companion, we shall reach heights n walk miles.

Bewildered people ask themselves, " Why is God punishing us? Why has He abandoned us? " I tell you otherwise, " Have faith in Him and sing " Hallelujah! "

'Growth begins at the edge of our comfort zone, where challenges become catalysts for transformation.' - Aloo Denish Obiero

There will always be people for whom (no matter how sweet the blessings), the cup is half empty. For these chronic pessimists, I say try the power of two P-words: first and foremost; prayer, and secondly; positive thinking. Focus on the blessings God has given, and even though the cup may not be running over, give thanks for the portion that is half full. Things could always be worse!

Let the heart speak!
knowing its mind and own
place,
knowing its opulent space --
knowing our lies and truths,
the shallow or depth
of window-eyes, the soul that records
our breaks and ties...
the heart, a poet’s lexicon

I love the desert. The people who inhabit it, an old desert rat myself -- and the creatures that survive in such a challenging environment. Not so estranged from kids growing up in poverty on the streets of New York. All elements of creation have more in common than differences. Sorry Gleick, you are wrong.

One day we all die. All that remains are the photos and memories. Perhaps a person could write it all down and leave something of themselves behind; their thoughts, their memories. And in their written thoughts, perhaps "Love" is eventually understood and found. One day we all die. We all die one day. I shall ghost with the best of them ... a very ghostly ghost.(LadyLabyrinth/Leanne Lovejoy-Burton)

I want not a gentleman’s bouquet that’ll wither away with time, but a gardener’s field which shall bloom for eternity in my name.

The unprecedented antics and double standards you see from the Left, are Satan's love letters falling from their pockets, as they flail wildly, swinging their hatred for Trump and other dissidents, that challenge their cozy status quo."

Some, lack the guts, others, don't have the balls, yet the cowardice runs rampant among the GOP, fearing a leader they don't really care for, so they may trespass with power in their congressional halls.

The legacy of freedom is inscribed by those who envisioned a world liberated from tyranny, dared to challenge the fetters of oppression, and defended the pursuit of dignity and self-determination—ideals we must fervently uphold. -Aloo Denish Obiero

"2024 will be a challenging year and prosperous for those who do not give up. That which God has given you to do, do it without complaining and success will come your way. Like a boomerang, whatever you throw out will come back.”
