This last Mothers day
My wife’s little dog passed away

Holly was my wife’s little love
Both now are in the heaven above

Holly did not like the cold
Poor Holly only ten years old

I miss my wife so much
I also miss that little dog’s touch
 
I just had to adopt a little dog for me

It did not last long
I was doing chores
In another room
The quiet broken

She is excited
I went to see why

Eating the peanuts
Then eating bird seeds
He had a big feast
The birds and the squirrels
Ran off in a big rush
From the huge raccoon
They were scared of him...

Her squirrel friend Tippy
His tail is white at the tip
She is intense watching

It won't be long before
She stretches at the door
Excited to chase
Tippy up the tree
Then he will look down
To laugh at her

This is how Tippy's day 
Always ends every day
Until tomorrow
Tippy plays this game

Guns should be hanging off her holsters; not sure they aren’t.
As she faces me down with her charisma I laugh. She is mighty!
