The Raccoon
The morning quiet
It did not last long
I was doing chores
In another room
The quiet broken
Maggie growls and barks
She is excited
I went to see why
Outside the glass door
Upon the wide deck
Stood a huge raccoon
Eating the peanuts
Then eating bird seeds
He had a big feast
The birds and the squirrels
Ran off in a big rush
From the huge raccoon
They were scared of him
