TWO FACED HEAVEN

I walk slow in a globe of puffy clouds
Dancing midair, a concerto, harp plucks
From right to left are angels in white shrouds
their velvet pulling psalms, my heart they struck
Amazed! I stopped. Behold. Entwine and stuck!
Has my one weary soul found its best...

Premium Member Two-Faced Tempest
Wind, your double essence is well-known.
Whispered summer breezes you exhale;
Then suddenly you turn. You surge and wail,
Expelling rage, you bluster or you moan.
Your brute relentless nature then is shown
For you become a cyclone, Hound of Hell,
Or show yourself a monsoon, squall, or gale.
Unquelled, a...

Premium Member My Two-Faced Muse
My muse can sometimes wear a scoundrel’s face.
He flees and hides behind some desert brush,
abandoning me in a barren place
where sweet imagination has no gush!
Of inspiration I can find no trace.

This villain muse subjects me to a drought
and sets the stage with dreary atmosphere.
He scatters...

Premium Member Two Faced Swords Tongues-
Escape into your heart;
Where your mind can't be found;
Flee into the fleeting muscles, pumping iron;
Flow within the vessels that inhabit dew;
Liquids of scarlet drops of quarrel;
Flee from out your head;
Those hurt full pangs you dread;
Sacrifice those killing scene;
Vanquish thoughts of unpleasantness;
Words hurt more than metal,...

Premium Member A Two-Faced Son-Of-A-Gun
Even Honest Abe Lincoln admitted himself that he wasn't all that pretty,

   But you'll be hard-pressed to find a president who was more witty!

      During debates, Stephen Douglas called him a two-faced son-of-a-gun.

Two-Faced Mechanic
You put new parts in my car that didn't need to be replaced.
You claim to be a reputable mechanic but you're two-faced.
Because of you, people spend more money that they work hard to earn.
We need that money for food and bills, we're getting tired of...

Two- Faced Friend
Time plays its endless game,

People like him can never be the same.

For years I thought you are so real,

Seeing you again is so much surreal.

It was sweeter than fiction as I have thought,

Earnest friendship was our really big ought.

For years I thought...

Two-Faced Necessity
Hope is a fickle, contrary mistress,
tormenting the most courageous of hearts
and soothing concern with a soft caress.

She occasionally lurches what she starts,
like a roller coaster with faulty brakes,
tormenting the most courageous of hearts.

But all yearn for the concoction she makes.
Desiring the anxious thrill it provides,...

My Two-Faced Auntie May: For Contest
Auntie May came to visit,
and sat in daddy's favorite chair.
I looked behind her head,
but all I saw was hair.

I snuck into her room.
Her suitcase was on the floor.
I took a peek inside, then
Auntie May walked in the door.

"Why are you in my room?"
She loudly...

Two-Faced Anthropoid
I am a man of two faces
One face for the eyes of the world
The other face for when I close the door
Behind this door, you don't want to see
the face that cowers behind this door
A face which reveals itself in the sullen,
Cimmerian shadows
Most...

Two Faced God
Asclepius is staring at the beam of a balance,
heart on pan and gold bars opposite

the heart is pastel gray the gold is glittering
the heart not beating the gold glaring blinding the eyes

he ponders which one to keep in order to satisfy his desire
as well...

Two-Faced
Listen to them very carefully.
Just listen to what they say.
Vile drips from their tongue so readily,
disguised in just the right way.

Now ponder for just a minute,
what do they speak of you?
When the crowd's without you in it,
do they mock you too?

Did you think...

Two Faced Politicians
By Franklin Price
1/6/2019

Two faced politicians are the ones in Washington
When it's time for re-election, they're for the people just for fun
Will say they'll reach across the aisle for the best for you and me
When they're elected and are seated, say we'll have to...
