Your Little One- For a Baby Shower

Your little one is on her way To change your world from night to day To show you how to laugh and play Your little one is on her way Your little one will bring delight She’ll keep you up all through the night She'll cry then coo till morning light Your little one will bring delight Your little one will bring you joy You thought at first she’d be a boy She’ll make her Dad her little toy Your little one will bring you joy Your little one will bring you love She’s sent to you from up above She'll bring you peace, this Heaven’s Dove Your little one will bring you love Your little one is God’s own child On both of you, heaven has smiled So teach her to be meek and mild Your little one is God’s own child Eileen Manassian I wrote this poem this morning and read it at a baby shower for Naty Acuna, a good friend of mine from Argentina. Andres, her husband, is the University chaplain and men's dean. Naty is the women's dean. We are blessed to have them at Middle East University. They have come as missionaries. Yes, they will have a baby girl. They will name her Emma. :)

No, but I pulled out some cut outs that I have in a file....hoping one day to make a scrap book for my daughter. I had many. Used the figure of bee and cat...or something, and wrote on the backs of those and tied them together with ribbon. :) I think they liked it. Another lady asked me to send her a copy for her little boy. Hope I remember tomorrow. Hugs

:) Thank you David. It's raining outside. Heavy downpour. It's raining down my face. Its almost ONE AM, and I can't get to sleep. Feeling down....Yes, it would be nice if you were there to see how I interact with people. I'm a bit of a loud mouth, I got all the ladies to OOOHHHH and AWWWWW after each present. I'm quite the character. Bit of a clown, really. I like to see people happy...Thanks for this post. Sweet of you.

I spent a lot of time on the weekend in tears. I would ease your pain if can. I am saddened that you feel so low. Please remember that I am their for you as you are for me. You do not have to suffer alone. Do not cry little one. Angels should not shed tears of saddness. love Shane xxx

:) I know, Tim. I was a real Daddy's girl. Still am. Mom had me when she was 41...wasn't expecting it. I came after two brothers...the baby GIRL. So, yes, Daddy spoiled me. :) My daughter has HER daddy wrapped around her little finger. I feel like an outsider sometimes. Ah...it is a special relationship. Andres said..."If she has a smile like her Mama, I'm in for it!" :) Thanks for posting.
