Yesterday's Joys
Walking around
I see myself fifteen years younger-
Playful and not caring what the world thought of me.
Chocolate dripping from my small lips
Yes,
those were the times.
Being three years old yet acting as if I were Spider-Man-
Shooting my fictitious webs at enemies only I could see.
Being three again,
Has its privileges.
I can have cake for breakfast,
Kiss any girl I want,
Live life to the fullest...at least until my patience runs out.
Yesterday's Joys are today's Taken For Granted.
