Whispers of Autumn

Whispers of autumn in the air As leaves begin to change their hue In scarlet tints and chatreuse flair Released to the wind right on cue Birds begin their soutward flight Whispers of autumn in the air In warmer climes they will delight For the north wind is drawing near Ivy in bloom with flowers fair Pumpkin pies in flavors bold Whispers of autumn in the air The harvest moon adorned in gold The skies will hint of season's change With vivid colors to declare Ghosts and goblins are now in range Whispers of autumn in the air 8-13-2022

I do like a good Quatern and I love Autumn. You have very fine imagery and the style was done to perfection. I quite enjoyed this piece.

I hear the sweet whispers of autumn. This is absolutely beautiful with a cool breeze passing by and leaves changing into different hues. Love the poem in sweet rhyme.... dear Joseph.

I love your autumn poem Joseph! Pumpkin pies, harvest moon, Halloween you didn’t forget a thing. Autumn is the time of year I gave birth to all three of my children in the first week of November.
