When the Sparkle Has Gone
New corners of life are joy to behold
Grasping with both hands like never before
Building anew as anyone's future moulds
Ridding the past and previous life's sores
When new corners of life were a joy to behold
Diminishing day by day, a shadow of thriving
Foundations that should bloom now to be cold
To wonder the next morn as to what's arriving
For any new corners of life that anyone awaits
Is it to be a door where their lost souls belong
Or is it now inevitable, fates closed the gate
When the sparkle has gone.
