Water and Earth
Emotional is Water, for like its tides,
it’s moving constantly from high to low.
Like people on those roller coaster rides,
waves rise up very high and then they go
crashing down, but with Earth, it’s not the same,
for Earth is mostly stable – immovable,
but Earth, when meeting Water, has a name.
That name is Mud! It’s highly provable.
Imagine Earth, unruffled and so calm
meets moody Water, pelting it as Rain.
Earth does not retaliate. Drop a bomb?
No, it takes IN Water, for Earth is sane.
When Earth and Water marry, they but need
the warmth of Sun; then they can grow a seed!
