Very nice, Howard. I always enjoy seeing the difference too in how we spell words like color!! There are actually quite a few differences but now I have learned well how to use gobsmacked!!

Hi Howard. Thank you, I just learnt (Google) that Sylvan is a woodland troll. Is your colour crystal? I like the indoors/ outdoors contrast feel of your Haiku.

Hi Sigrid, Thanks for soup mail visit and review of this work. I’m pleased you liked the contrasts. Velvet is the colour which must be included in contest entry as it is one of the qualifying conditions. Crystal on this occasion is a solid substance with geometric features. Hopefully that clarifies the colour crystal issue. Howard
