Trapped hearts
That one cold night, when two hearts decided to bleed,
I was walking alone in the streets.
Felt you called my name, but when I turned to see your face,
it was the cold breeze echoing your warmth on my skin.
Like whispers in the wind, they softly speak
of cherished bonds and a journey unique.
Yet time marches on, relentless and cold,
while my heart remains trapped in stories untold.
How easy it was for you to shatter my soul.
From the fragments, I found the courage to be bold.
Each tear that falls, a silent refrain,
a testament to the ache, the endless pain.
But someday, perhaps in the distant dawn,
may this heart find solace and finally move on.
