Tomorrow
What would you do if tomorrow was your last,
would you weep for the future or appreciate your past?
Could you live in the present, as fleeting as it may be,
what exactly would you want your loved ones to see?
Some will find peace while others go home and pack,
but there is nothing you can take, not even the clothes on your back.
What if you could change this life that you live,
would you still want to take or maybe go back and give?
Our time here is precious but it will certainly end in death,
you better make some decisions before that last breath.
Should we focus on what or how we will leave,
is there life after death, what exactly do you believe?
Is your neighbor more important than the house that you’ve bought,
have you asked those hard questions, now give that some thought?
Will you decide to just settle or fight and keep trying?
Maybe it’s time to start living or you will be busy dying.
