Timeless Currents
"Mirrored Refrain": The poem is formed by three or more quatrains where two lines within the quatrain are the "mirrored refrain" or alternating refrain. The rhyme scheme is as follows-- xaBA, xbAB, xaBA, xbAB etc.. x represents the only lines that do not rhyme within the poem. A and B represent the refrain.
Spirits in line with continuity
Shining bright through contrast
Insatiable you, everyday starts anew
A love that is meant to last
Growing together, learning more and more
There is nothing we can't work through
A love that is meant to last

Swimming through the timeless currents of bliss
Our souls unite, no impasse
Insatiable you, everyday starts anew

Time shared for eternity, we are meant to be
Even in anger nothing is ever taboo

Conversations stimulte a mental vacation
A lasting impression sending me into climax

Thirty years from now old and grey, we remain
