The three-legged table ordained Its four-legged buddy- hair-brained! A dumb square was he- Paired down to just three Not knowing that four was ingrained. A three-legged table is round; On only three legs, it is sound. A square one needs four. With three, it's done for; Will wobble until it is downed! The three-legged table grew sad; Four-legged- now only three had. Six legs were just fine- They chose to combine! Odd-shaped- firmly fixed, both are glad!
