The Promise of Today

stars revere the rising sun and bow out of sight, refractory shadows lift, revealing rays of light, illuminating, misty, ruffled, canopies on trees, rippling waters humming, in the gentle morning breeze, sacred song birds, fill the air, in a choral litany, beneath a dome, a colorful horizon, splattered vividly.
