The Melting Point of Memory

my river blackest water death etched in wet stone tumbling dark and light disentangle the night and roll my body into the deep cold of you my river once a-bliss in knots of fire thrashing in the theatre of the wounded sun now coiled like slow smoke blue on gray snake skin silent my river twisted ghost lost in the moon wandering through bones those places I loved foam and torrent swelling into sea old as blood frail memory
