The Butterfly
A butterfly spread
Her wings to fly
But closed them up
Because of a lie
She was told that
her colors were bland
They weren’t pretty
She had the colors of a man
Someone else told her to
Spread her wings and fly
So, she took off flying
way up high
someone shouted
what a beautiful sight
her colors are
filled with beauty and light
She flew around with
Such beauty and grace
Then told those haters
To stay out of her face
