Rhythm

Morn's rhythm band orchestrated Those sounds combined by whom Perfect harmony echoes softly In a fog drenched wet doom The music lifts a spirit entombed Sets it high up above Listen to the roosters' chorus Cooing of a mourning dove Fancy, fancy, fancy sing-song Of a Mockingbird's beek Cheer-up, cheer-up song birds tune sweet But stillness in the seeks An answer to life's heavy questions Why does man others hurt Putting down our fellowman Quick in passing and curt Unfinished

Wonderful write, Sara, here lately I have been hearing the birds singing day and night outside my window in the oak tree and shrubs so they have been very loud.. Your poem sings just like those birds, " beautifully". Yes, there has to be some kind of peace in this world like the birds songs...

Thanks for the nice review..I am glad that you are enjoying the sound of the birds..They are enjoying spring, rearing their young, and the large crop of insects..There can be peace if only within in this day of uncertainty..Sara
