Never Forget

Parody of I guess that's why they call it the blues Songwriters: Elton John / Bernie Taupin / Davey Johnstone Don't ever forget that day, that our lives were taken let our people recall, how the towers did fall, and the soul of our nation was shaken. Don't stumble now now that you've come so far remember how, you stood arm in arm united as one, filled with pride. Don't let our deaths be in vain cast out false pride and remember our names remember the mothers remember the fathers all of the lives lost on that September Don't tell us that we died in vain. Don't ever forget that day, that the world was shaken let the people recall, how the towers did fall and the heart of our nation was broken. Don't stumble now stand up and fight for what's right cause after all, if America falls who will survive, where evil thrives Don't let our deaths be in vain swallow false pride, because we are the same you are my brother you are my sister we are a family, made of all colors Don't tell us that we died in vain

Creative tribute for those who died, were injured, who have PTSD, who were left handicapped and those who have permanent health problems from that awful terrorist act/s of that day. I enjoyed reading it. I feel for all of those and their families. We all as a nation suffered as we watched it unfold before our eyes. Sara

thank you. It's hard to believe some people want to pretend this never happened or make lite of it as though it was no big deal. we will be seeing more of this in the future...

As we look up, as we remember, as we share with the youth, as we gather in friendship as many as will hear. The day was poignant, horrific, scary, our generation’s Pearl Harbor. We must never forget.
