Nature's Rhythm: I Listen and Connect

In an island amidst the seamless seas,
lost in the warmth of a dream-like enchanting moment,
I sense a smooth placid stillness and repose.
As the golden ball ascends,
light bids adieu to the dark with a soft kiss -
the sky welcomes her beloved with a vermilion smile.
Mind greets thoughts anew that evoke delight,
when the koels and kingfishers sing hymns of hope.
The morning sky glows in rays of nature's lamp,
warm and vibrant, it heals my soul.

Ten lines taken from the following poems:
1. In My Dream
2. Sunflowers
3. To Leave All Cares Behind
4. Waiting for Light
5.The Glory of Dawn
6. Vermilion Sunrise at Kanyakumari
7. Mindful Moments
8. My Blossoms
9. Soothing Serenity
10. To Belong

Anitha your poem is full of vivid imagery that really sets the scene in only ten lines.. I can see you carefully selected the ten lines, which flow so well.. Love the use of different colours and animals to describe a delightful moment that helped to soothe your soul.. Loved the lines about vermilion lips.. so poetic.. This was a really difficult contest to judge and you did a great poem.. Thanks for writing for my last contest and congratulations on your placement..

Thank you so much dear S1 for the inspiring contest and my placement. To be frank, by chance I got to see your contest and didn't want to miss it as you mentioned it is your last contest. It wouldn't hv bothered me even if I get an NA from you, as YOU were the first sponsor here in Soup to place me Top in one of your contests.

This is so lovely and mixed in with a little hint of passion. I love how you wrote this Anitha, it seems like this would be a tough poem to write based on piecing lines from other Poems of yours. I compliment your effort and I am making this one from you a favorite. God bless you Dear Anitha...
